Online Training with GoForth Institute

Community Futures Sunrise and GoForth Institute announced today a partnership to provide early-stage entrepreneurs in south east Saskatchewan access to the country's most comprehensive entrepreneurial education program from the convenience of their home or office.  The program will be delivered online through an innovative platform that includes online video instruction and PowerPoint presentations, downloadable worksheets, quizzes and the opportunity to interact with the instructors.

Program registration will be administered by Community Futures locally and will be available at an affordable cost to participants immediately.  "The need for entrepreneurial education is national, yet until now most programs have only been offered in major cities across the country and the rural entrepreneurs who drive a significant portion of our country's economic viability have not had access to comprehensive education programs," said Dr. Leslie Roberts, founder and president of GoForth Institute.

"Over the last year we've worked alongside Community Futures Sunrise to develop an education solution that works for local entrepreneurs who are passionate about starting or growing a business that contributes to the economic diversity of their community," she said.

"one of the fundamental pillars to entrepreneurial success is a solid understanding of all aspects of managing and owning a business," said Cory Harkness, General Manager of Community Futures Sunrise.  "The GoForth program covers everything from A-Z including accounting, human resources and marketing, and is an amazing resource we can now offer our network of local entrepreneurs," states Cory.

GoForth Institute training is delivered online from the comfort of the participant's home or office.  Each lession is delivered by an expert instructor and students can follow their PowerPoint presentation as they deliver the lession.  At the end of each lession, students can send the intstuctor an email if they would like to discuss any part of the module in more detail.

Students can also download GoForth Institute worksheets, lession summaries and other materials, packed with essential small business resources, information and exercise to help them further develop small business skills.
